Is Math Club in a Bag a sole source provider?

Yes. Math Club in a Bag is the sole source provider of these specific academic enrichment math programs. These programs are developed in-house and specific materials needed compiled to ensure the materials needed, and only the materials needed, are included. If your district purchasing office requires a sole source affidavit or W-9 form to process purchase orders, contact Sales@MathClubinaBag.org and we will provide the paperwork promptly.

What is your refund policy?

We are a small company and as such once materials are sent and received, no refunds are given. If something is missing or arrives in poor condition, please let us know and we will make it right.

When will items be shipped for the 2026-27 school year?

Programs purchased for the 2026-27 school year before July 20, will be received by schools before September 1. Because we order in batches based on expected needs and current orders, receipt after that date will depend on availability and any necessary restocking time. Contact Sales@MathClubinaBag.org for more information.

Is there a discount for purchasing multiple grades or programs for multiple schools?

Yes. We offer a discount of $100 per first year of a program when you purchase the first year of multiple programs. Meaning, the first year you purchase Levels 3, 4, and 5, you will receive a discount of $300. Contact Sales@MathClubinaBag.org if purchasing for multiple schools.

I have more than ten kids in my club. Can I purchase additional materials?

Yes. Additional materials are available for purchase in sets of four. These can be ordered by emailing Sales@MathClubinaBag.org. Each set will include enough additional cards, game tokens, dice, handouts, N&E Books, and other materials referenced in the Meeting Plans, to cover up to four more mathletes in your club.

I have access to plenty of materials but need more N&E Books. Can I purchase additional copies?

Yes, contact Sales@MathClubinaBag.org with the number you need.

If we have more than 10 kids but don't want to order more N&E Books, do we have an option?

Yes. The N&E books have a lot of benefit added features that will be missed, such as the guided notetaking, space for annotating, eliminating loose papers, etc. However, the experience builder problems are available for download in the MathClubinaBag.org account after ordering.

What else do we need to buy to run this program?

NOTHING! The only items not included are: a coach to run it (can be a teacher or a volunteer), a space to hold meetings, and a dry erase board for the coach to use. EVERYTHING else, down to the pencils for the mathletes and dry erase markers for the coach are included.

What is the renewal cost and what is included?

The yearly renewal cost is $200. This amount includes the first 10 N&E books (these are the consumable workbooks the kids use) and any other consumable items. It does not include pencils and dry erase marker replacement, though, we may choose to include these.

We aren't sure how many mathletes we will have. If we purchase the base program now, can we add on additional materials later?

Yes. Once you have purchase the base program for a level, you may purchase add-on materials for that level at any time - even if it is years from now.

Can we charge kids to participate in our math club?  If yes, how much can we charge?

You may charge for your students to participate. The amount you charge is up to you. The amount you pay for Math Club in a Bag is a flat rate, regardless of what you charge. Things to consider when setting a price: will you be providing snacks? Will you include contest registration(s) in the cost? Will there be a team t-shirt included in the cost? It is much easier to set the participation fee once you know what your expenses will be.
The Math Club in a Bag program provides 18 hours of programming. A rate of $180 per student is recommended but you can charge less or more as it makes sense for your program and your community.

What is your commitment to quality?

It is important to us that our coaches have the best materials possible. When we upgraded our original 3rd grade program, we provided existing programs with copies of the new materials.  When we made the switch from in-house printing of our custom card deck to having it professionally printed, we gave these to our customers. When we determined the paper 1" squares weren't going to last from year to year and moved to 1" foam squares, we gave these to our customers. We did all of these for no additional cost. Yes, we lost money with those customers but we value their trust that we'll provide them what they need to make it easy for them to be a successful math club coach.
